Fulton County Trade Show
Fulton County is home to many thriving businesses and about 100 of them will be participating in the Second Annual Fulton County Trade Show on May 14thbetween 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the Spangler Arena at the Fulton County Fair Grounds. Admission and parking are free. This Trade Show is the result of the collaboration of the five Chambers of Commerce in Fulton County.
In an effort to increases awareness of the breadth and depth of businesses throughout the county the Chambers of Commerce from Archbold, Delta, Fayette, Swanton and Wauseon have been working together to organize this event. They anticipate that over 100 businesses will be displaying and demonstrating their products and services. Food and beverages will also be available throughout the day from several local food service providers at a nominal cost.
During these challenging economic times the chambers wanted to demonstrate to the community that there are many robust and successful businesses in Fulton County. In creating greater awareness of the variety of businesses in the county it is anticipated that businesses will find more local business partners and residents will discover local businesses that they did not know existed in the county.
Of particular note is that the chambers of commerce are working together to promote all of the businesses in the county and not just the ones in their home communities. They have had to share responsibilities and work through a myriad of concerns to bring this project together. Their hard work will be of benefit to both the local businesses and the local residents as well. After the success of last year’s event it is anticipated that nearly 1000 individuals will pass the doors of the Spangler Arena on the day of the event.
